Flanigan’s Old Fashioned Cocktail

Try our Flanigan’s Old Fashioned Cocktail using our very own The Patriot Corn Whiskey.

 

Step back in time to the good old days with Flanigan’s own version of the pre-prohibition drink.  This velvety smooth cocktail is easy on the palate while giving a mix of citrus and floral aromas that mingle well with the sweet nutty notes of our corn whiskey.

Flanigan’s Old Fashioned Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon organic blue Agave sweetener
  • 3 dashes Flanigan’s Old Fashioned bitters
  • 2 ounces Flanigan’s The Patriot corn whiskey
  • Garnish: orange peel, and Flanigan’s absolute Rose water

 

Steps

  • Add the Agave, bitters and Flanigan’s The Patriot into a rocks glass, and stir until combined.
  • Fill the glass with large ice cubes, gently stir to chill. Can be served on the rocks or strained into a martini glass and served neat.
  • Express the oil of a one inch piece of orange peel over the glass, run orange peel around the rim of glass then drop in. Spritz Flanigan’s Rose water on top.
