Kevin and Dana and their extended family are excited to bring their passion for wine and shine with a little dining as well to the tiny hamlet of Bertram, Texas. Both Kevin and Dana have taken a mad scientist approach to modern crafting of wine and distilled spirits. They have a long history of happy experimentation in wine and spirits and have now taken a hobby and turned it into a magnificent obsession.
The Tasting Room is located in “Iron Star Hall” a beautiful 1904 Building originally built as a lumber and hardware store. The inside of the building was remodeled as a 1920’s hotel, for the movie the ‘Newton Boys’.
Across the street the stone building built in 1908 housed the Post Office, Carriage Company and Lumber Company over the years. This building is now serving as our Production Facility where we are crafting both our Wine and Spirits.
